Wi-Fi Connection Issues After Installation

If your Guardian Valve controller is running 3.3.x firmware version and you have a Motorola Wi-Fi Router/Modem from your internet service provider you may experience occasional connectivity issues. To fix this, go to Devices > Valve Controller > Settings > Firmware and perform a Repeat Firmware update.

  • Can't get either Android phone or IPAD to connect to Guardian Valve it just says "Please connect to a 'Guardian-XXXX' Wi-Fi hotspot. When I click let's go tab it brings up my phones setting with list of My connected Network and others and the wheel spins and spins nothing more.

  • Brand new replacement Guardian leak protector, plumber installed valve that fits, but cannot get it to do the initial calibration, what next

  • I did all they requested and in the phone says all good but the valve will not communicate with the sensors, and forget about getting help from costumer support.
    After 3 days waiting and about 12 phone calls and no help I finally decided to return the valve and get credit on my credit card. ( what bunch of crap)

  • Brand new Guardian, installed yesterday and calibrated fine. Connected 5 sensors to it. Now today I can't even login to the app to view the status. It's treating me like I'm a new user and I can't get past the Service Agreement. If not resolved soon I will be returning this.

  • I'm trying to connect using Android but have been unsuccessful, I've tried two different devices a phone and a tablet. After ....Please connect to a 'Guardian-XXXX' .....They see the Guardian valve but will not link?

    Also unlike the videos, I only have one solid light on top of the valve but no flickering lights as per video? Can you assist please.

  • I have similar issue with my guardian valve, can't connect to Wi-Fi and I get exact same message as Roger mentioned above. I'm running 2.5 version and can't get to connect to my Wi-Fi network as the system connects to the valve's own hot-spot it created. So frustrated with this system. Looks like its going back if support does not respond back soon.
