Update 4/28/2020 Our cloud servers are back online and remote operation of your Guardian system should be functional.

To verify, please do the following:

  • Reboot your valve controller by unplugging it and plugging it back in while its battery backup is removed
  • Reboot your phone
  • Log back into the Guardian app

You should now be able to control your system.

  • I am affected by this outage and I'm still using the 'non-beta' GA version of the 'Guardian By Elexa' iOS application v2.25. Can you provide an ETA when this issue will be resolved? Is there any workaround available?

  • Please provide a work around to setup the switch! I can’t set it up without the app. This is very disappointed and not acceptable for commercials non-beta product. If the beta app is working, please provide instructions to setup.

  • Cannot get through the "Terms of Service" agreement in the Guardian App. Looking for visibility on when it will be fixed. I am a remote user and it impacts my ability to control valve in freezing temps.

  • An update from my end, I just checked the app and my legacy non-beta iOS app is functional again. I am also able to reach the Guardian app migration website - but I'm not sure I want to go that route if it's still Beta. Can anyone provide some guidance and details about the new backend infrastructure with timelines when the Open Beta will become GA?

  • Please cut me a break. This is a good company struggling like the rest of us. Did your house or apartment flood in the time the server was down? It's not a perfect world get use to it.

  • For what it’s worth; I experienced this outage (late Sunday April 26) using the legacy app and posted here first on Monday morning. When the outage was fixed and the beta program opened again, I moved my system to beta. There were some initial bugs with the setup, but I was able to self resolve them within 30 minutes. The beta app doesn’t appear to be affected by the current outage and appears to work normally.
